I think your keyboard is on the blink.

Que?

I'd imagine he's referring to the lack of capital letters and punctuation.

it was a stylistic choice you flaming pedant
Haha! That's a good one to describe chronic laziness.

German is my favourite non-English language.

Aside from C#, of course.

I manage a load of teams of C# developers.

It would be freakishly odd if you actually turned out to be one of them.

First thing I'd ask, obvs, would be what the fuck you are doing posting here in the daytime!

***Hastily deletes posts***

You're safe, don't worry! My job-job isn't as a developer, but I do have a small business doing custom business software development.

Plus you're a fan of FV, not a hater.

That's better! Good man! Just needs a bit of punctuation now.

Am I remembering this right, he'd be flouting grices maxims if it was stylistic rather than violating them?

He's just flouting basic English rather than making a 'stylistic' choice. Commenting on a missed comma would be pedantic but here...

If you're going out on a style limb, you need to post exclusively in comic sans

Timesheets were the very worst thing about working in proper accounting firms. I could never go back to that life, mainly because most of mine looked like the one paulie posted above!

Every single place I have worked, I have had to shout at people who don't keep them up to date. For extra bonus points in this place I also get shouted at about capex when people actually do submit their time.

Every time I have had to explain to developers that it's not them justifying their time or being spied on, it helps the business understand how long things take and therefore, get a true picture of our bandwidth, which has a direct link to how they treat time estimates which benefits the very same devs if it is accurate.

And every single time, I might as well have just been speaking into the fucking dustbin.

I reckon we will get well beaten this weekend.

I also guarantee one theme in the post match thread will be "we got beaten the first game of last season and look how THAT turned out!"

Which is fair comment. I just know how this place works.

Anyway, the reason i think we will lose is because we can't have consistent good shiny happy things, and West Ham away smells of losing traditionally.
