I think his comments yesterday were aimed at Onana and basically telling him to get on with it and be available.

I thought the same. 'Take a pain killer if necessary but make yourself available, soft lad'.

Bogarde is a big drop off from Onana and Kamara.

Yep. The only thing he's got over them is that he doesn't miss half the season every season. It's really starting to piss me off because our drop off is alarming. It wouldn't be so bad if they got together and agreed that one will be out for the first half of the season and the other for the second half.

Gary Numan wrote 'We Are Glass' about Kamara and Onana.

True story.

The commentary suggested Bogarde was stripping off to come on anyway, Cash taking out Onana speeded that up.

With my optimistic hat on, the plan was always for Onana to start and Bogarde to come on after about 60-minutes, just to manage his minutes and prevent the tie getting away from us.

The obvious answer is to put Lindeloff into a DM role, Big Jack did it with with God for the Republic and it worked a treat!

Imagine what this guy will be like in his 30s if he's breaking down this much in his best years.

Probably long out of the game by then.

We might as well sell him in the Summer, it's unworkable to keep having centre mids who cant string a run of games together.

Stan Collymore: "If we get significant money ever for Onana, sell sell sell.

Ask anyone who's played the game and they can see someone who goes AWOL when it gets a bit hard.

Important player for Villa, because he does fight fires, but he's not going into the trenches for anyone. Hasn't gone unnoticed at Bodymoor either."

I just think he's naturally injury-prone and so understandably has little confidence in his physical resilience. But either way, I agree we'd be better off selling him.

Shame, because he's a good player.

Ridiculously harsh for a guy who clearly injured himself precisely from not going AWOL, not to mention a bit bloody rich considering the source.

The commentator suggested Onana was icing his calf in the dugout after he came off, having thought it was a hamstring injury initially? He"ll miss the Spurs game you'd think. Hopefully he can make next Thursday night. His and Kamara's injuries have ruined our chances in many games this season. Add in McGinn and Tielemans with their injuries and it's exacerbated the problem.
