He's gone up a level thanks to bringing some discipline to his game. Playing the defensive midfielder role alongside Youri has obviously helped. It may not be the most glamorous but it really suits his strengths and makes us overall a better team.

How he didn't score/cause a goal with his header at the corner is baffling. Tremendoud leap from him as he was foot above the keepers arms when he made contact.

He was incredibly unlucky, did everything right but he was just so high he couldn't get it to dip quick enough to sneak in.

Definitely unlucky. It could easily have bounced back onto a keeper or defender, and actually almost went in as an OG from the first defenders reaction.

At the risk of jamming it, it is probably his longest spell for us uninjured as well.
