I was thinking that he left him on to combat the barcodes height advantage at corners etc.

Well there’s three reasons there, bit of magic, height and to try and counter with his driving runs.

He certainly ain’t worth the fee we paid for.
Let’s hope he improves.

Every single outfield player has been poor in the first two games, or at best “ok”. I’d suggest that’s more about our structure, preparation etc. I wouldn’t be singling out individuals, when it’s obvious the team is not being set up right.

I'd sell him to the Saudi's.

I’d agree he hasn’t justified his fee yet but he’s not a dud. We’ve got to get behind what we have.

One of those players who is really good when he's good, but awful when he's not.

Many Everton fans said this when he signed him. Yes, he is a very good player, but he often goes missing when you need him.

I thought Unai would sort this out.

Main attribute seems to be set pieces.

Don’t think he can play with Kamara and he hasn’t seemed to suit our style of play since he first emerged last pre season.

We over paid for him. He is not worth 50m in my opinion

Just ran around like he was looking for contact lense
Not a good showing from.him today

Good man for cycling downhill. Going gets tough and Onana goes missing. Move him, and his fist pumps, on asap.

Amazes me that people manage to get themselves worked up about a player who celebrates with the fans when Villa win.
