Away to Puskas Academy in last 32 of UEFA Youth League.

And one of the coolest stadiums in the world, if their Youth team play there.
They played there in the last round v Genk. Looks impressive, and different, but with it apparently being a vanity project of Viktor Orban I’m not sure I’d label it cool.
Hopefully our left wing is too strong for them.

EFL Trophy game at home to Bradford City confirmed for Tuesday 14th Jan KO 7.30. Nothing about venue, but I think it has to be at VP as per competition rules.

*Just checked Bradford City site and it's showing at Bodymoor Heath. I think this would be a poor move from the Villa as I'm sure that could get a 5k-10k crowd for this.

I doubt that. Brighton and Everton were the last two clubs to host knock-out games at their main ground, and both attracted fewer than a thousand fans.

Could make for an exciting Guess the Crowd if Louzie runs it for this.
First meeting since that semi final.
Bradford fans may bring a banner "Aye Up ! Welcome T'Nightmare"

ST holders free, Adults a fiver and kids a quid might get us some bums on seats. Will be great experience for the U21s to play a game at VP.

We were supposed to be away, but then the Football League realised it was too convenient for our Yorkshire based Villans to attend.

I've been on the Christmas Port, but after going to Bolton away and Blackpool last week I've developed a strange enthusiasm for this trophy.

I enjoyed watching both games….some superb penalty taking in both games and goalkeeping in the Bolton one

No matter what we've tried our reserve gates have always been poor.

If we get through to the next round, I wonder what a draw against Blues or Walsall would bring in gate wise ?
