Interesting that Barnes was in the matchday squad Sunday.

This is mostly the U18's btw. It's the problem with scheduling it during the international break. They're missing some senior players and a lot of kids are away at their various age groups.

Good luck to the kids. Tough game for them tonight. Take it we could not name mings and kamara tonight?

We could have, we just haven't.

Either they decided they hadn't reacted well in the last match, or they didn't want to risk them against the cloggers of Bolton.

Then why has Buendia been left out? Surely they would have given him more minutes if they wanted to include the seniors again.

Very interesting.  I think they may be ready for first team on that basis

If Ming/Kamara/Buendia can only manage 45-minutes then it’d mess up the whole game v Bolton.  My guess is there’ll be a “behind closed doors” friendly at the weekend where they can be a bit more flexible with subs etc.

Zych outstanding. The ref though - booked him for time-wasting then added a minute at the end of the half. Couldn’t have been that bad could it?

Lovely goal.

I think they have to play as close to their first team as possible or they get a fine from the EFL.
