Yep. But there's no evidence it's because they've asked for it, as Lew thinks. Much more likely it's the broadcasters' choice.

I reckon it'll be Leicester away, and we'll lose. They will also give us a horrendous Boxing Day game and will play it at the most inconvenient time imaginable.

The Daily Star article clearly says there is an anarrangement with the Sky 6 CD. The reason they want it is, scenario last day of this season, only Man City and Liverpool have a chance of winning the league, neither of the would want to play another Sky 6 club, when the other has a home fixture with say Ipswich, also as far as I am aware the broadcasters don't have a say in compiling the fixtures.

The Daily Star article is a massive pile of supposition with no supporting evidence. Broadcasters undoubtedly have a say in fixtures. Clubs don't, other than the ability to ask for away games when doing stadium redevelopment or asking to avoid certain days like the Hillsborough anniversary. There is no way six clubs are all colluding to demand who they play, twice a season. Absolute tin-hat stuff mate, I'm afraid.

We have been away for our last 8 premier league seasons on the opening day. So in keeping with tradition - Southampton … away.

Erm... does anyone know where we go to see them? Or do we just keep refreshing things and someone will tell us?

Also, I'm very disappointed in the lack of 'leaks' this year.
