Premier League 2024/25 fixtures
« on: June 12, 2024, 05:58:32 PM »

Quote
The release of the Premier League fixtures for the 2024/25 season has been confirmed to take place at 09:00 BST on Tuesday 18 June.

Dates for all 380 matches will be released at that time on premierleague.com and via the Premier League's official app.

The 2024/25 season will consist of 33 weekends, four midweek rounds of matches and one Bank Holiday Matchweek.

The Premier League 2024/25 season dates have been confirmed, with the campaign starting on 17 August 2024, 90 days after the 2023/24 Premier League concludes on 19 May.

The final match round of the 2024/25 season will be played on 25 May 2025, when all matches will kick off simultaneously as usual.

In keeping with previous commitments made to clubs to address the congested schedule across Christmas and New Year, arrangements will be made to allow more rest time over three of the festive match rounds, with no club playing within 60 hours of another match. There will be no fixture on 24 December 2024.

The mid-season break has also been removed from the calendar to allow a mid-August start date for the Premier League.

This longer summer break allows all Premier League clubs to be better able to ensure that players get a consecutive three-week break in the summer. This takes into account expert advice from medical and technical departments, which values a longer period of complete rest in the summer rather than a short break in the winter.

Ipswich A. 5-0 loss, win the league in between and then lose last game of the season to Leicester 5-0. Win the CL.

Once we have the fixture list, we'll be able to see on what weekends we'll lose 3-2 to Yanited.

No newly promoted sides early on please.

Would prefer Tottenham later on too, when they've burnt themselves out.

Wouldn't mind playing either of the Manc sides early on.

Man City or Chelsea last game might be decent, as they may rest players for the World Club Cashgrab, if it goes ahead. Though not if Man City still haven't won the league, yet.

Would like Liverpool away first. As we always lose our first match it may as well be against somebody good.

And give us a decent Boxing Day match, for once.

I never mind getting a "top" side early, get them while they aren't ready in the hope we are.

A home game to start, please. Villa Park in the sun and a full house to welcome our new signings.

I'm assuming that we have asked to be away first, again.

With all the stadium reconfig ongoing you’d assume so.

3-1 v Yanited, Country House about to go to number one. (A bit of a crap tune in hindsight but it felt like it mattered, y'know?)
