Who's the bloke in the dressing room?

Don't recognise him - but I know I should.

It's bloody expensive, but I suppose that's the going rate for quality kit manufacturers these days....

The kit (*minus that drop shadowed crest!) exudes quality, and the production values of the marketing behind the kit launch are unlike ANYTHING we've ever seen at Villa. Off to Crete in the morning, but will definitely be putting my money where my mouth is when I return.

Well done Villa. Improvements on and off the pitch are continuing to gather pace!

Looks like they've done some sort of tunnel system into the shop;

Love the Bull, we need to make more of the fact we are from Brum, with the added bonus that it'll wind the rags right up.

Yep, agreed.

Given that the women don't wear white shorts any more I wonder if they'll get a bespoke kit or if we will just have claret, blue or black shorts with the away/third kit and the women will wear them as the "home" shorts.
"Home change shorts" on the Villa shop

EDIT: And "home change socks"

👍🏼

I wonder if this means no claret shorts or socks in the away or third kit?

Great launch video.  I like the "if you know, you know" vibe running through it.  Thank goodness we're not all about shifting kit in Indonesia. Yet.

Apart from £30, the difference between the standard and pro ("authentic") version seems to be:

The pro version is slim fit, the standard version is regular fit.
The pro version is "HEATREADY", the standard version is "AEROREADY". Whatever that means.
The pro version gets a heat applied badge, the standard version gets a woven badge.

As ever though, they've cocked up the description on the website for the pro version, as it says at the bottom it's got a woven badge, when in the details it says "heat applied". You'd think they'd want to get stuff like that right from the off tbh.

Sold out in an HOUR? It's going to be the best-selling shirt we've had in forever, isn't it?

Well you'd think it will sell very well, as it's adidas and the team's in the CL, but I suppose the sold out status largely depends on how many were initially available.

Yes, the old create demand by causing shortages ploy.

The other potential possibility is that a lot of the stock is at Villa Park so that people who go don't go home empty handed.

Seems like there is a big queue outside, people have been waiting 25 mins plus. Lucky the weather is nice today, hope they have sufficient stock in-store.
