The Castore shirts weren't awful designs, nothing like as bad as some of the Macron shite we used to wear.

The problem is, Castore as a brand is a bit Lonsdale, a bit Mike Ashley-ish.

It's for small, pointless clubs, like Wolves.

I don't think so. For me, it's the quality of the shirt and it has the right shade of claret. A firend of mine has one and it still looks mint.

I doubt anyone will have a warm feeling about last year's Castore effort, just because we finished 4th and got CL football in it.

At least the Castore kit had blue sleeves. Even Macron got that right.

*Exasperated female voice* : Oh great, missionary again.

Didn't resonate with me. Even when we got promoted again, a part of me couldn't celebrate. Yes, we're back in the top flight, but we've done it with shameful sleeves. You could sense that some of the players felt the same way, that's why quite a few left the club that summer, never to return.

Even Steve Bruce couldn’t stomach it for a full season and left.

Also true. And Steve Bruce can stomach a lot.

Weston McKennie couldn’t even stomach playing a single game wearing that kit, and he can stomach…

Honestly, all this going on about Weston McKennie's weight takes the biscuit.

Which Weston McKennie is never shy of doing.

What is a ‘golden baller’? I think I saw that on a price list in Amsterdam.

Just popped in to say that the Luke kits were a fucking disgrace.

As you were.
the resale market disagrees

The resale market disagrees because it was worn in a successful season that ended in a Wembley win. It’s the same reason our 81 and 82 shirts still sell so well. There would be no resale market for the Luke shirt if we’d been relegated in it.

I quite liked it, but I certainly don’t think it was much better than others we’ve had recently.

Makes no sense . Some kits become iconic like the Luke one and also Henson .
