Its absolutely hideous, but quite spectacular in a "guilty pleasure" kind of way.

I can see what you mean, but the shirt and bucket hat look like something people might wear to a Stone Roses gig rather than on a football pitch.

I thought that was a link to Kays Catalougue

be honest, but when the Kays catalogue arrived you flicked immediately to the lingerie section the minute your mum wasn't looking.

Absolutely....

Kids today wouldn’t believe it.

As for the word Mom, when I moved to Devon my teachers insisted on me spelling it mum. I obviously didn’t.

I just checked online (because the internet is always right) and the UK is mum and the US is mom. Apparently. So you lot are all American. And if you don’t like it I’m going to tell my mum/mom on all of you.

Have you ever even been to Birmingham? Maybe you've been away too long.

The first rule of Brummiedom, is that it is mom and not mum.

Is it a case that Brummies are saying Mum but it comes out sounding like Mom?

Mam is the correct word anyway.

No, Brummies say 'mom' and it comes out 'mom', like it should.

I say "mom" but spell it "mum", because she prefers that spelling so I'd get a clip round the ear otherwise.
