Deep fried turkey can be excellent. Otherwise it’s boring, dry and generally shit.

Deep frying something isn’t the test. You can deep fry any old shite and it’s good.

Nah. There is a special skill to a properly done deep fried turkey. It’s not just dunking it a vat of oil. If it goes wrong, not only do you lose the bird, you can lose your own skin and even your house.

Bloody turkeys...Nearly hit two of the buggers at 6:30am this morning on the way to my daughter's soccer tournament in Rhode Island. They are nearly as stupid as pheasants.

I’m all for butter. But you don’t need it on a bacon sarnie.

In the days of getting bacon sarnies from vans at work, I never had to ask them not to put butter on. They were hard-working, right-minded, salt of the earth purveyors of fine bacon treats, and they knew their trade.

They didn’t have facilities to wash their hands, but their sarnies were of the highest standards.

If you buy it from a van, or a crap cafe, what they call 'butter' is actually shit grade margarine. In which case you definitely don't want it.

This thread has turned into a right cluster pluck.

For the younger members, this is what a faulty TV looked like back in the late 60s but in black and white.

Apologies for posting this picture. I still quite like it but accept that it may not be Everyone's cup of tea, but I can't be blamed for this thread diverging into bacon or sausage butty wars. How the fuck bread sauce even got mentioned I'll never know. It must be me, cus I like bacon butties with butter, and I like bread sauce. Although I did really dislike the Luke kits and green efforts that we've had over the years. Oh yeah, and the Henson kits were shit too!

I'm someone who bangs the drum of having something different as the home kit, I get really bored of the standard template but Rico... my man... that's one of the worst designs I have ever seen. I know most people hate the badge but even then there's no need to do that to it!

I've never tried bread sauce, I've never felt the need to.

You don’t need to apologise for posting that picture. You may have to recant the heresy involving buttery bacon, though!

WHERE IS THE BLEEDING KIT VILLA?

That would be another complaint; the sleeves on my shirt now have claret stripes on them because the colours ran in the wash....

Heck hopes to launch the kit just after Euro 2024 finishes, according to Townley.
