In fairness to Newcastle, I can remember them have kits with those sort of colours in the 1990s, so nothing to do with Saudi Arabia (unlike their kits from last season).

In both the 1990s and on occasions this century, Newcastle incorporated a flash of electric blue so as to replicate the colours of a, err, magpie.  I've no recollection of any green, certainly not on the home kit.

There's no green on their home kit now.

Their 19/20 away was dark green. 14/15 3rd kit was half green.

They had green on their tracksuits and jackets back in the 90s, which is the era of retro that is fashionable these days.

Didnt Newcastle have an away kit with the same template as our Asics Muller one from '93-'95 in green with blue stripes?

The Green is now more prominent, regular and engrained within the Kingdom of Jaudi Arabia kits etc due to the PIF ownership. Doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to solve this one. Not a one off like the 90's .

Not sure about the blurry horse but I love the look of Juve's 3rd kit.

It's not letting me post the pic but here's a link https://cdn.footballkitarchive.com/2024/05/15/rB5f1clyl0PGn0Y.jpg

Well I like it!

Not keen, but maybe we could have a blurry stand alone lion 😉

A pissed lion who doesn't know which way to look could be quite blurry.

Any idea of when the new shirts will be available to buy or is it the usual Villa - end of July?

Seems sensible to be ready to sell them so i would imagine it will be based on the new shop fit out they are working on.
Or maybe even to have a few new players to be seen in them?

We signed to adidas quite late so it stands to reason the timetable would be late.  Hopefully this will be the last season our release is so late though.

I can only see 5 new kits released images so far

Newcastle - just looks like every other Geordie shirt
Man Cite£ - as tasteless as the club
Arsenal - clean and traditional
P.Lop - looks awful
Sperms - as P.Lop

I was thinking a launch with the shop refurb, but apparently they are already tight on that being open for the new season. So it doesn't seem they will be able to do a big joint event like that.

I guess they could do that with the third shirt launch, maybe.

A close up look at the UTD kit and Newcastle kit on the Adidas site...
The Adidas logo looks embroidered on the Man U kit, but shitty plastic transfers on the Newcastle one ?
