Colour me surprised that the referee is an irredeemable wanker.

It was onside, why people continue to argue otherwise is beyond me.

The law that you can hang around offside for ages and gain an advantage is where the bullshit it is, but it's allowed.
Ergo there was an offside passage of play

Quite, but it's not the law, so there's nothing to debate.

Maybe it was, but I do think that parallax plays a big part in these decisions. Human being only get about 30% of parallax mistakes correct, and the only way to prove it is to look at it in the correct plane of vision. So overhead, looking far it square on…

Until there is a camera above then we'll never know, so with the technology we have, it's off. No doubt we would have benefitted from said effect at times.

I think that’s correct - but if I look at a switch from my position at work, sometimes you really do have to look at it from square on to see if it’s on the correct position or not.

I think, and suspect, that an overhead view of things would have changed a good number of VAR decisions this season for the correct ones. And this is one of them in my opinion. Overhead, he’s offside. From the angle the cameras have, he’s onside.

And VAR has supposed to be taking lessons from us as a workforce!!

We just look like a side where you just need to wait for the mistake.

So you're saying it's off?

No, I obviously just made an error. It's on.
