His Ill discipline is not professional.

I disagree, fouling is part of the game. As mentioned above he tracked his man to the halfway line, a less dangerous area to commit the foul. Done his job like a pro.

Incidentally re the injury crisis - how many of us had even heard of him before tonight?

He's just played for us in a European Semi Final.

That says a lot.

did someone say he was declan rice's cousin or did  dream it.

Hard to imagine you'd have a Declan and a Finley in the same family.

They are Irish ancestors aren't they ?

We have lot of Declans over here, Finleys not so much.

Sometimes young players fame goes to the heads. Lets hope he's a solid professional and willing to learn and take instructions.
The actual Marylin Monroe fame killed her.

That was really well done - tenacious and intelligent.

There's an opportunity for creative nicknames for all the squad players.
Thats for another thread another time and for the relative creatives or basics of fitting a name to a player.

There's also the pun fest links to a new player threads that it can potentially brings to a player. Duran was signed and people who were familiar quickly latched on to Duran Duran songs for example after a band from the past.

Can't be many youth players that make their senior debut in a European semi final.

Finley is more of a surname here. Might be on the other side they're related.

Calling him Marilyn just sounds disrespectful. And you're the only one doing it. So maybe just do it yourself in your head or something.

Footy-Vill, you may be interested to learn that one of our esteemed posters UK Redsox (hope he's ok by the way, haven't seen him post in a while) gave Callum O'Hare the most gloriously shoe-horned nickname of all time - "Airport Boy".
I'll leave you to research on how he came up with that one, it will be educational in an appropriate way.

At the same time, he can learn why its IATA code is ORD rather than e.g OHA.
