It was Marilyn Monroe. With an 'o'. Perhaps just call him by his actual name?
People were using Angela for Henri Lansbury. Somewhat incessantly.
There is no difference.
Plus Marylin is a major star and far bigger than Angela Lansbury.
And there's a decision to be made on calling Rogers , Ginger or Buck. These are far more universally known than Angela
I think Matt the singer with the golden voice Monro still works too.
But Marylin it is. Move over Angela.

I thought you were trying to stop being annoying?

His Ill discipline is not professional.

I disagree, fouling is part of the game. As mentioned above he tracked his man to the halfway line, a less dangerous area to commit the foul. Done his job like a pro.

Yes, but I have heard he is a bad person.

He’s been given Friday off.  And apparently he’s off to see his cousins in Mullingar but stupidly going on Ryanair.

Will never refer to him as Marilyn, I don't think.

Same way as I cringe when people start calling Duran, 'panda'.

Yeah, I bet I'm fun at parties and all that.

Airport Boy was the worst ever.  Angela was also annoying.  Let's never call Finley 'Marilyn' again please.

Well, I was simply supplying nicknames and debate because I thought it was what people did, and part of the humour.
I selected Ginger and Marylin as they are iconic but if it's preferred not to then I shall not it was confusing when Lansbury was called Angela and I agree that it can be irritating but add perplexing if it's something that's not universally known like a Marylin Monroe or a Ginger Rogers.
Thanks for your take Chris I will go along with your advice and just stick to the players names.

I will not be looking into this airport boy thing after looking up things before I imagine it will be something not to my liking !

I think it's fair to come out with the occasional reference to Ginny, Cashy Ez, Diego, Pau, Dougie, for current players.

Prince William knows all the nicknames of the players Cashy said I wonder what they are?

And Finley Munroe it shall remain!

I used to call Callum O’Hare Chicago.

Because he once came on midway during the second half?

No, because he had bad flatulence.

Sometimes young players fame goes to the heads. Lets hope he's a solid professional and willing to learn and take instructions.
The actual Marylin Monroe fame killed her.

Calling him Marilyn just sounds disrespectful. And you're the only one doing it. So maybe just do it yourself in your head or something.

I'm sorry this is confusing posts and what you said early and controlling what i post now and dispute it's disrespectful anyway and your saying I can't do nicknames but you can?! That doesn't make sense and Marylin Monroe is not in bad taste unlike the toilet humour and insuation on Callum O Hare.

There is no toilet humour or bad insinutation on Callum O'Hare's "Airport Boy" moniker.

UK Redsox is merely an avid Americanophile, O'Hare airport is based in Chicago. So it was purely geographical and wholesome, not deviant and sexual.

I believe you are all referring to Bucky O'Hare, actually.

Footy - nicknames are best when they are earned and have some meaning that triggers memories or something. If you just make one up for the sake of having one, it's going to be meaningless and won't be used, I'm afraid.

What was the deal with Henri Lansbury being nick named after an actress
It's different rules apply?
