It was Marilyn Monroe. With an 'o'. Perhaps just call him by his actual name?

Obviously he only got a few minutes and in comparison to what came before anything would have looked good, but.... I thought he looked alright?

Seemed to put himself about a bit and wasn't afraid of a bit of physical action, forcing one of their players back to the half way line at one point.

Do wish we could have given some of these kids more playing time this season. Would be very handy to know we had one or two ready to add to the squad next season without having to spend.

People were using Angela for Henri Lansbury. Somewhat incessantly.
There is no difference.
Plus Marylin is a major star and far bigger than Angela Lansbury.
And there's a decision to be made on calling Rogers , Ginger or Buck. These are far more universally known than Angela
I think Matt the singer with the golden voice Monro still works too.
But Marylin it is. Move over Angela.

There's an opportunity for creative nicknames for all the squad players.
Thats for another thread another time and for the relative creatives or basics of fitting a name to a player.

There's also the pun fest links to a new player threads that it can potentially brings to a player. Duran was signed and people who were familiar quickly latched on to Duran Duran songs for example after a band from the past.

Hard to imagine you'd have a Declan and a Finley in the same family.

Yes the Cousin of Muller
Ashley Cole advisied Chelsea to give him a scholarship.
Marylin is a late developer and Villa saw something special in the teenager at the time of his release from Chelsea.
Marylin has taken to the full-back role with ease given his natural ability on the ball.
Last season, he posted impressive ball retention numbers having completed 394 passes in 14 games, with 73 of those being long passes.
He has a wicked delivery and can take set-pieces - he crashed the bar in the 5-0 win over Brentford in the FA Youth Cup back in December last year, after netting a penalty and assisting another goal in the same match.

For a player whose career has been affected by his late development, and a perceived lack of presence in the air, it’s impressive that he won 75 per cent of his aerial duels last term too.
