This has never pretended to be a 'family-friendly' forum I'm afraid, Footy. Quoting Curb Your Enthusiasm, wandering wildly off topic...it's about as standard H&V as it gets!

When offensive language is heard during games, TV and Radio commentators are required to apologise. And as I say content and trigger warnings are given our in other platforms maybe that could be considered here.

Nobody but you gives a flying fuck though. We should change just for one prude/religious maniac?

All about respect for others but Footy, you have been here long enough to know we swear like troopers.

The only place i feel the need to use expletives is on the golf course, then it lasts for about five hours. Then again when i was a nipper, saying bloody was a capital offence in my house.

If I didn't swear I'd be a much angrier person. So I'll carry on thanks, and bollocks to anyone that thinks otherwise.

Bollocks isn't really swearing though is it.

I'd be disappointed if my daughter said it, but you do live in Oz mate so I understand.

There is a poster rolling around on the floor,  one hand over their eyes, slapping the turf with the other but play continues.

Might be interesting to explore this trigger warning option.

We could, but then some people get triggered by wacko transfer speculation, crap jokes around nicknames and similar. So if we're being fair, maybe a warning needs to be attached every time someone like that posts.

The moderators generally take a dim view when anyone offers advice on how to police this site, so not sure you should carry on down that path.  But I wish you Godspeed, FV.

The thing I really noticed about our last two performances were the number of times that a simple pass was misplaced, or underhit, or overhit, and the number of times a player failed to properly get the simplest pass under his control. These may well be a sign of tiredness, or a lack of full fitness or even confidence in some cases. I can't help feeling that not going behind in this game is absolutely vital.

Spot on, and they are things that annoy me more than anything when watching the Villa. Those, and holding onto the ball too long when there is a simple pass on. There’s been a torrent of those things over the last few games. It annoyed me against Chelsea, but I’ve come to accept since then that it’s fatigue - mental, physical or both.

My brain is saying 'Don't be silly, it's Spurs'... but then there are things which are causing slight alarm.

- We're running on fumes, and could potentially be even lower on personnel tomorrow with Bailey supposedly crocked.
- It's Liverpool. We rarely beat them.
- On paper, Man City should brush aside Spurs, but not only have they NEVER won at their new Lego bowl, they've even failed to register a single goal.
- If Spurs win and we lose - We then go away to one of the most in form teams in the league, who could currently be mistaken for prime Barcelona!

I think our best bet is to just bloody WIN tomorrow night. Qualifying for the Champions League, under the Villa Park lights in the last home game of the season against Liverpool would be something special. (*so the pessimistic Villa fan of old in me is saying it will NEVER happen!).

One last push!  UTV
