H and V will need to have some progressive thinking and implement disclaimers for content and trigger warnings. This is used in other media content, apps, online streaming, television shows, and movies. If people must force themselves to be explicit or may upset other readers, posters, and members, a disclaimer must be in place, unless H and V provide a separate thread or threads and area for people to use this type of language and discuss adult themes without offending people. I'd like to see something like that come in during the summer and into the next season. Free-ranging views are all excellent, but overstepping decency isn't necessary and nice to read.

Footy, go and have a wank.  Much more fun than trying to stop people from being silly.

This has never pretended to be a 'family-friendly' forum I'm afraid, Footy. Quoting Curb Your Enthusiasm, wandering wildly off topic...it's about as standard H&V as it gets!

When offensive language is heard during games, TV and Radio commentators are required to apologise. And as I say content and trigger warnings are given our in other platforms maybe that could be considered here.

Every single topic you post on ends up being about you.

Never going to happen. If you can't handle swearing Footy, I'm sorry, but that is the nature of this forum, always has been and always will be. It's under no obligation to change itself for a minority of one. If you don't like those comments, my advice is to save yourself some bother and just ignore them.

Why do they apologise on football matches but not here?
Why is there content warnings and disclaimers but not here.
They'll make it law one day to do that if not already because there needs to be regulation of all things going on these websites and social medias.

I can't remember Michael York's line exactly but it went something like..

'Piss,  c**t, fart, piss, fuck, bugger and balls'.

Because there is such a thing as free speech, as long as it is not inciting.  Swearing is part and parcel of life, as is smut and taking the piss out of one another.  Trying to censure people is not going to end well.

In terms of our hopeless form etc, last seven league games, Liverpool have W 3, D 2, L2. Our strugglers on the other hand have W 3, D 2, L 2.

Their three wins have come against heavy hitters, Sheff Utd, Fulham and a struggling spurs. We’ve beaten Wolves, an in form Bournemouth and Arsenal away.

Their defeats to Palace at home and Everton away, ours to Brighton and Man City both away.

We obviously look tired and have too many injuries, but I think talk of them lot murdering us is misplaced on current form.

Those of us in the ground tomorrow have a massive role to play in helping us put this 4th craic to bed.

You'll be happier. This is just an internet forum, not a national broadcaster, it has no obligations to anyone and hoping the law will save you from experiencing swearing isn't grown up.

Trust me, you'll be so much happier when you just ignore the posts you don't like. Like I do when Risso bangs on about Konsa at right back I see certain things that get under my skin!

From Spurs.com BBC -

Aston Villa have won just one and lost 10 (D1) of their last 12 Premier League games against Liverpool. Their one victory was a 7-2 win at Villa Park in October 2020.

Liverpool have won more Premier League away games against Aston Villa than they have vs any other opponent (16). Only against Newcastle and West Ham (35 each) do they have more wins overall than against Villa in the competition (33).

Okay, this is why a new topic or threads specifically on H and V are now needed, allowing those who prefer to use language and explore the mature themes they wish. How about keeping this a family-friendly thread and about the Villa v Liverpool match?

Or, hows about we post whatever the fuck we like, however the fuck we like, with whatever fucking language we like, within forum guidelines, & you accept that as you are the only one finding any kind of moralistic fault with this, the problem is in fact, you...

H and V will need to have some progressive thinking and implement disclaimers for content and trigger warnings. Were those types of disclaimers on the site when you agreed to them & signed up your account?

Every silver lining has a cloud hey. As has been shown since Emery came in, this stuff is meaningless now.

If we do beat Liverpool, we'll have taken more than half the points available against the 'traditional' big six this season, even allowing for Manchester fucking United taking six points off us.

So those stats can go fuck themselves.
