I think I can see why Tim hasn’t played.

This has to be one of the most abject displays since Emery took charge. The players should be embarrassed.

I’ve turned over to Star Trek Discovery.

Oof, that bad? Really thought Discovery was weak. Picard was bad until they got the band back together in S3 too. The whole franchise needs a total reboot, unsure how it could be done now.

Yep that bad!

Might jump to Leverkusen v Roma as it is now 2-2.

May have to wait until next season but I’m pretty confident we will score again sometime

I actually feel quite sad for our players. They’ve literally given everything to get here. And with all the adversity of injuries, the number of games, the schedule. We are going to fall short tonight and even though it shouldn’t be, 4th is at risk. It would be crushing to miss out on both.

Probably the most disappointing thing about tonight is all the years we've had to watch great European comebacks from Liverpool, Man Utd, et al. and then listen to the never-ending eulogies.  We had a chance to write ourselves into folklore and have not even laid a glove on bang-average opposition.

For all the criticism of cash (most justified) i do feel Digne lacks his endeavour, arguably choosing not to put him in the situation where he might fail.  He needs to be braver.

Well hopefully next season we will have more luck with the serious injuries and a few more signings to be prepared for the long campaign which it certainly is while in Europe.
