They must have some sort of voodoo curse on us.  Objectively from the 1.5 games there’s no way they’re three goals better than us.
Hmmmm the score says 5-2. I think they are.

The five goals we’ve conceded have been awful. We are terrible at defending sometimes. Probably to do with so many changes in the back four all season and nobody like Mings who takes control.

Cash is busy and a really enthusiastic player but he’s so frustrating. I know we have a lack of options but we seem to be relying on him to carve them open and he’s not got it in him.

El Kaabi could get a prem contract next season. He's proved himself banging in 4 against a prem defence. The promoted teams might take him or someone like fulham
He'll be 31 next month but has looked decent. He scores goals, but his club CV doesn't shout out anything outstanding.

The Villa Way: providing second chances to below average strikers.

Dougie has gone shit since he got that shit hair style. Anyone else noticed?

I mentioned it before it’s sort of a reverse Samson effect.

I'd get all the big guns off now. The greeks aren't happy to sit back and let us have the ball, so it won't be a tonking it would just be the kids playing triangles for the next 45.

Konsa has been dreadful the last few games sadly. He’s had a great season, but he’s been rubbish of late.

Luiz with his regulation yellow .

It just occurred to me how most of his yellows come from how exposed the team is through the middle. Some of that is his fault, of course, but not all of it (spoiler: it's probably Diaby's fault, and I hate piling in on him but man, he's having a horrible time of it recently).

Digne sold him out with that nothing pass to be honest. Luiz still gets outmuscled in duels too often.
Good to see them watering the pitch as it seemed bone dry in the first half.

Duran on and dyche ball 2nd half please. Fuck it.

The chances of us deviating from the philosophy that has brought us back to Europe and the business end of a cup competition to the sort of style that held us back for decades are slim to none

Sometimes you mix it up when plan A gets you nowhere. I've seen many a team far better than us do it.

That was our big push. We're completely spent and it doesn't bode well for our final two games.

Just watching their goal again….how atrocious was Konsa ?

What the fuck waa he doing seriously? Unai has to stop playing him rb. Either play cash at rb or give kesler a chance. Konsa not at cb is effecting us and him

I understand Emery likes the slow build up but can't we also play quick break sometimes?  Is it such a hard and fast rule that we must always slow things down?
