The five goals we’ve conceded have been awful. We are terrible at defending sometimes. Probably to do with so many changes in the back four all season and nobody like Mings who takes control.

Cash is busy and a really enthusiastic player but he’s so frustrating. I know we have a lack of options but we seem to be relying on him to carve them open and he’s not got it in him.

There's a reason his career improved when he moved back from the wing. Neither Cash or Digne are wing backs.

Nor Konsa. We certainly lacking there with Moreno injured.

Konsa has been dreadful the last few games sadly. He’s had a great season, but he’s been rubbish of late.

The England effect , happens almost every time one of ours progress to England squad.

They must have some sort of voodoo curse on us.  Objectively from the 1.5 games there’s no way they’re three goals better than us.

No voodoo but yes, they’ve averaged their way past us so far.  An early goal and you never know.

They’re not in the same class as Lille, but we’ve just hit the proverbial wall. We’re down to the last 11 senior players, some playing out of position, some out of form, all look mentally exhausted.

I will not question Unai but I don’t understand that if he is so meticulous in his planning and analysis, why we play exactly the same way regardless of the opponent?

So you are questioning him?

It’s like when someone says “I’m not being funny, but”
Ok…it’s a question ?

We’re playing nothing like we normally play.

We need to have a massive 2nd half, not just for any hope in this game but to turn things around for the next game,we've run out of games.

It’s all about the doubts.  The dark doubts in the back off the mind.
I’ve never had them.  Cough

The players we need to play in different ways are all injured.

Give Kellyman a whirl at number 10?
