Man City will twat Spurs into next week and win the league in the process. We already have enough points, even if we don't get any from our remaining two, which we will.

I'm looking forward to seeing the next set of football results on Saturday. In particular, Fulham vs Citeh and Tottingham vs Burnleh. The outcome of these fixtures will give us a clearer view of what is needed.

Spurs are however hopelessly out of steam and luck very much like how our end of season form is. Man City are in very good form and generally finish the season well.

I'm not sure that's true, ie the running out of steam bit. They were the best team against Arsenal and had the majority of possession against Liverpool yesterday, they just haven't been defending very well, but remain dangerous up front. They were poor against Chelsea, but that looked mainly because Chelsea are in great form. You'd certainly have Man City as favourites for the result there, but would you honestly be *that* surprised if Spurs somehow manage to beat them?

Exactly this. Spurs only looked “good” when Liverpool switched off at 4-0. I also think Burnley will get some kind of result against them

Looks like Man City have turned beast mode back on for the android. He scored 4 v wolves. They will not drop a point for the rest of the season. Put your savings on it.

That's not how that works.  If they draw, then that hands the momentum and possibly the title to Arsenal who have the better goal difference.

If we want help from City, we want them to beat Fulham and Tottenham.   Better scenario would be for us to get 2 or more points from the last two games.

Only really catching up on the game now after spending most of yesterday and today at hospital (I've got a wedge fracture to my collarbone which needs surgery) so I've only seen brief highlights but 2 things:

Why didn't Rogers get a pen?
Did they check for the Brighton players following in for their pen? The one guy looked very close.

If the taker scores, even on a rebound, they don't bother with calling it back for encroachment. If someone else had scored or a defender clears, they then review the for it.

As for Rogers, refs call which meant there wasn't enough for VAR to overturn it. When they released the audio for the infamous Forest calls the other, Webb mentioned that the "game" had apparently asked for not all the contact in the box to be penalty calls, and obviously VAR needs to be faster and less screen calls. The trouble is then it definitely goes back to the refs call and VAR 99% of the time follows the refs call. (Although he did mention the last one he would have "hoped" it would have been a screen review.)

probably needs a rod and pins to fix so pretty nasty, going back at the nd of the week once the swelling is gone. Hurt like fuck when I did it but mostly just uncomfortable now. thankfully I've dodged any nerve or neck damage which they were worried about.

Why are so many people giving up after a bad week? We definitely have one last push in us, these players have not let anyone down this season and even if we fall at this hurdle it doesn't taint an incredible step we've made forwards this year. I just have a feeling we've got another blockbuster in us.
