So I missed all the game and only know the result. Not read any of the thread.
What’s the general feeling, deserved result?

Yep we deserved nothing and Olsen stopped it being worse.

I caught the end of 5Live and Warnock said that Olsen played well.

A real shame after such a herculean effort this season that we're now barely crawling to the finish line.  Losing on Thursday and pretty clear today that's knocked the stuffing out of Emery and the players.  Wouldn't bet on us scoring another point this season

It's not clear, it's one poor performance. Stop being so weak.

We weren’t exactly great vs Chelsea or Olympiakos either, which is why people are getting twitchy.

It does look like we have completely run out of steam. All looked jaded today. It's disappointing but understandable. Hopefully Spurs don't take advantage...

They won courtesy of a dodgy pen which Olsen brilliantly saved but the rebound was kind to their striker. They were the better side overall and we look very leggy. Losing Roger's in the first half to an injury tipped the balance in their favour.

We have been poor all week in aspects of the game. Didn't attack well against Chelsea (when we did we either scored or caused them trouble) and haven't defended well in the last few matches either. Today was the storm where both combined, and with the player pool available to us getting smaller and consisting of the same players who just aren't doing it much anymore, where do you see the improvement?

They had 15 shots at goal with 8 on target, we had 1 on target (Rogers in the first 20 minutes or so I think) and a grand total of two in the match. Olsen was MOTM. So yes, I think the result was deserved and we were lucky only 1 goal was removed from our GD.

The stats don’t look great. Our lack of options and either the young players not being good enough or UE lack of trust in them is killing us really.

Its a potential valid point " its not weak" stop being dramatic and rude its unnecessary

At the moment the team does look short on confidence

Indeed, if all our fans capitulated so easily, we'd end up in League 1.

It was clear today the midfield was being overrun, so what was the point in bringing Diaby off and putting Duran on? It needed Tim to at least try to get hold of the ball in midfield.

Torres had his worst game for us today, his passing was atrocious, and he's never been that good at the defensive side, so when he's constantly hitting 30 yard balls straight back to the opposition, he might as well not be playing.

I think the second paragraph there is at least partly answered by the first. As you say, we were totally overran in midfield and Unai needed to react to that. Instead, he punted on more chaos rather than control and, well, that's what we got. Pau's passing was off but he didn't have enough options.

Not at the races again apart from a few good attacking breaks.
Emery shouldn’t have started Konsa at RB again.
Cash shouldn’t have brought on up the pitch.
Diaby wasted a few crosses.
Again the luck was against us.

Liverpool score!!!

It ain’t over chaps.
