Their second was the killer
Exactly we needed to get to half time and then Zaniolo threw it in the net.

It was two players parting not the one.

Plenty of positives to take from that. We played well at times and 4-1 is harsh.

Rogers played well. Duran played well. Iroegbunam did well. They will take a lot from that.

The much maligned Olsen, Lenglet and Zaniolo all did OK.

We will win the next two games comfortably.
It's over ?

It sounds obvious, but they got their second and third at exactly the right times. The third especially, thought we had a couple of decent counters at 1-2 and the subs were about to freshen it up, and then they got the third

Why didn’t Bailey and Tielemans start? What’s up with Torres?

Men against boys this second half. I know it’s a weakened team we’ve put but, our tackling has been half hearted. I’d take the 4-1 just now.

We’ve thrown this game.

This has MON in Moscow vibes about it now.  Granted we've got players out, but the attitude has been totally wrong from manager and players
We have a totally depleted team due ti injury, illnesses and a suspension. This is a patched up team up against a team bankrolled by an oil state [With 115 charges against them for Financial doping that if found guilty should see them playing in league 2 and there countless honours removed]. O'Neill chose to play a weakened team. There's a big difference.

Did the ref just give Foden a hand shake?

He wanted to give him more.

Positives to take from the performance for much of the first half considering the lineup we went into the game with.

2nd half has been a bit of a surrender. Foden is clearly one hell of a footballer
