No new RB or centre half.
Crazy.

Let's hope Bailey dosen't have an injury like Cash otherwise our right hand side is already decimated so early in the season.

On the evidence of the second half Bogarde at RB in any CL tie simply can't be happening.

You mean once he was tired with it being his first ever start in a Premier League match.

Not signing  a right back i think is going to be a big problem this year. Just wish me had the svope to have got geertruida. He would have been perfect for us

A couple of injuries (Cash, JPB) and we’re back to a second youth keeper on the bench and the likes of Swinkels in the squad. Add in Bailey with a hamstring  now, and things are looking a bit threadbare already.

It could still be ages before Kamara and Mings are back, so we really have left ourselves short.

Yep  a lot of us highlighted this when we said why we koaning illing jr and enzo out. We are only a few games in and back to two keepers in the bench.

We just so focused on FFP on loaning them we are not doing whats right for a tough CL campaign. Enzo would have been on the bench yesterday had he still been here same with illing jr. We should have kept both until January and seen how the long term injury lads are before considering loans

Just hope this isnt a long injury for bailey

Onana took a knock too but i think he will be fine although dont like the thought of him playing for Belgium with a knock

So Dendonker has gone to Anderlecht, freeing up another spot in the squad.  What a shame it didn't happen a while ago as we might have been able to bring someone else in.  We can still sign unattached players I presume.  Not sure if there is anyone around who would fit the bill.  Could do with defensive cover until Tyrone is up to speed.

I saw the photos of Mings with the group the other day, but has he actually kicked a ball yet?

Matts Hummels is a free agent, 35 mind. Hermoso was still available until a few days ago, but I think someone said he's going to Roma. Joel Matip?

Why has the transfer window closed in this country when it is still open across other parts of Europe? Other clubs can still strengthen and this does not seem equitable.

It's up the individual associations to decide. Which seems fair enough.

If you gave the power to UEFA to decide, that seems (a) like a bad idea and (b) even more unfair if everyone has the same transfer window given not everyone has the same calendar for their season.

I guess so, Dave, would you not expect those clubs in the Euro Champions League to all have the same window? I ask because I see that Galatasaray have signed.Osimhen.
