I don’t think he’s what we need, would be pretty underwhelmed.
Not sure what his USP is , would only be a squad filler or maybe someone to throw on to see games out

Not gonna lie, I'm a bit disappointed if we've missed out on Felix. Thought he could be the difference in games against the top sides.  I still think we've got a great squad, but he'd have made a great 10 for us.  Still, onwards and upwards!

Im not.

I mentioned previously, as have a couple of others, that his "potential" can only last so long before he has to start performing to the level of that potential. And at the age of 24/25, he is nowhere near showing anything like the potential he showed when younger.

He would have been an expensive gamble, just like Zaniolo was, if we didn't have the option to cancel his move. So without a similar loan deal to Zaniolo, I wouldn't want us anywhere Felix.

If that's the case, why would he not just stay at Tottenham?

Chelsea just don’t appear to have a plan at all. I might be wrong but suspect Felix has made another bad decision.

A basket case player for a basket case club. I’m relieved, a move that could have been a big bump in the road for us on the way to global domination:-)

I’m not convinced Chelsea even want Felix.  Strikes me that the move just facilitates the Gallagher sale so they have the homegrown cash in this years accounts.

…and Felix is an idiot for not seeing that, although he might not have had much say in the matter.

Well that’s just it - even when they really want a player it seems like there’s a 12-18 month period when they’re in fashion, maximum. Then they look at a shiny new toy. It’s a mad place to go if you’re a player, unless you play truly exceptionally like Palmer has then you’ll be down the pecking order quickly.

Felix might make it work, but given his first big career move was a bad misjudgment. It seems like a very strange gamble.

They seemed to have to play Palmer out of position yesterday to accommodate Neto, so how does Felix fit into that?

Palmer and Nkunku were out of position. They’re so weird - they’ve got 8 keepers, and none of them are particularly good. They are selling most of their left backs, it’s very odd.

They've brought in about half a billion (not an exaggeration) in player sales in the last four years. They've spent far more, but the rules allow for that. Given their huge squad, they'll have no problem selling again staying within the rules in future seasons.

Hmm not so sure about that. They paying hige wages on long term contracts. I cant see alot of clubs paying the same wages which means chelsea will have to either pay part of their wages or are stuck with them.

Barring palmer who else has gone up in value ?

Pretty poor 2 players out of 50 odd. This is why their bubble is going to burst at some stage
