At yet they are after more players and the players themselves know that and still want to join them. It’s madness.

I mean, it's not hard to see why players might be interested in signing a six year contract on £100,000 per week.

BBC gossip column suggests Chuk maybe going to Crystal Palace. Would be a good move for all parties as they have an Olise sized hole to fill.

Can palace afford those big wages though? Seems a good option for him if so

If they paid him what Chelsea pay him, he'd instantly become their highest-paid player (I don't think they have anyone over £100k a week, or didn't have last season) - and I don't see that happening.  So either Chelsea pay off a decent chunk of his contract, or it doesn't happen.

Well that obvious, but it’s not like they are the only clubs capable of that anymore.

Part of me would love to see Chuk leave Chelsea, go to a mid-table team, and then absolutely thrive.  It would be such a good example to point at for all the other kids being hoovered up by Chelsea.  Let's see Chelsea become known as the place where young talent goes to die.

Chukwuemeka isn't remotely as good as Olise, as Palace will soon find out if they buy him.

If ambling around the midfield half heartedly, occasionally receiving the ball and knocking it backwards and sideways a few yards makes you a top player then he must be world class. He certainly seemed to think so anyway.

Yeah, Bogarde's expected to sign a new contract and we're signing Kane Taylor (19) from Man City for £1m.

I think if we get Gertrude in as duel RB / RCB then we are as good as done  - certainly back to midfield.

Maybe an old head up front to compliment the chaos with being able to run games down as i still think only 2 out and out strikers is a little light

Lamar Bogarde is the nephew of Winston Bogarde who played for Chelsea and famously decided to live in Holland and commute to training twice a week for four years, to see out his contract after being told he would not be picked and he should look for another club.
He ended up playing 9 times for Chelsea in 4 years, and collected all his wages around £15m, and said why should he go elsewhere and play for less when Chelsea gave him this contract. "I may be one of the worst buys in the history of the Premiership, but I don't care."

Sounds like one of their better deals now
