Depends if he's moving for guaranteed game time or not because he will not get that here.

Right back looked like our weak point yesterday.
Agree, surprised it hasn’t been a priority, I expect and hope not to see Cash play there too often.

Maybe but I think it was more that Kudos was their best player, it became less of a problem when he was moved inside.

Gomez would be a very decent addition for us.

I do feel he is under-rated by many, but I think from what I’ve heard about the Dutch lad I’d rather have him.

If we signed another CB I'd guess Konsa covers RB too, depending on the opponents. I think Nedeljkovic will be the long term solution there but I wouldn't like to see him starting there against Arsenal.

Yeah agree. I think we know that we’re a bit weaker at right back than other areas (although I think Nedeljkovic could end up being a star but he’s not going to be the answer immediately), but yesterday it was standing out like a sore thumb because of how good Kudos was.

Kudus went over to the right and was nullified. It might mean that the player in front of the left back worked harder than the one in front of Cash, but in a one on one situation, on the other side Kudus offered nothing.  Cash, at times, whilst wholeheartedly committed, was a weak point. Young Kosta will be great but has some learning to do.

I think Gomez is underrated and he’s probably not been as good the last few seasons as he was when he first went to Liverpool but we know his ceiling is higher than his recent form. He’d be great as cover for both centre half and right back, essentially for Konsa but for me I’d like a more dynamic option going forward at right back who could come straight in as in upgrade for Cash. That will be Ned over time, it could be this season and that’s why they’re looking at a more defensive option at rb.

Ok, but there are other considerations like whether Kudos is as good that side and whether he was tired by then. As I said I think it is a weak point anyway and I’d certainly like to see us offload Carlos and bring in someone who is quality at both RB and RCB as a priority. Cash hasn’t improved under Emery as much as many of the others.

I think with Cash it's a case of him having reached his ceiling. He's not a bad player by any means but there's only so much any manager can do for a player and I think that limit has been reached with Cash.

At the moment, with the CBs we have, I think Konsa has to play there, so Cash is 1st choice RB, but over the season we'll see him replaced by Nedeljkovic and Konsa more and more.

It's the one glaring weaker position in the squad at the moment.  Hopefully it will be addressed before the end of the window.

As I've said lots of times, I like Cash and until the penalty yesterday, he was playing very well. He put in one glorious tackle on one of their players that will keep the West Ham player awake at night for weeks to come. But the penalty seemed to knock his confidence and after that he didn't look nearly as good. Also, I didn't think Bailey had his best game, so our whole right side looked noticeably weaker than the left. Maatsen and Ramsey  when they came on looked absolutely fantastic.

Aye, would be an odd move.

I think you and I have always taken his side against the odds
But doesn’t mean to say we can’t improve, and Maatsen might just be that man
