I could live with a lower fee for a higher sell on. He could waste his talent, but he could be a £100 million player. £30 million plus 20% of any profit would do me.

In ordinary circumstances perhaps, but seeing as it's Sulligimp no, stump up you sorry, vile little wank, or fuck off.

Exactly. He just wants something on the cheap, and if he doesn't get it, it's nasty old Villa's fault for being greedy.

He's got his free stadium we've all chipped in for, so now he can bloody pay.

Colombia got to the final of the Copa America so he's on his holidays. For all we know, the deal's all agreed. Nothing can happen until he's back from his holidays at any rate. There seems to be a lot of filler from the West Ham tabloids to try and make it look like there's more to the story than there probably is.

Anyway, good luck to him but all of Onana, Barkley and Tielemans will equally struggle without Kamara in there next to them I think. I think Emery might well be thinking of a move away from that double pivot at the base of the midfield as a result. Nigh on impossible to pick what our X1 will be for West Ham at this point. So many more options which obviously brings its own challenges. Guess we are still expecting likes of Carlos, Duran, Donk, Archer to move on too.

Onana is surely coming in to provide the defensive ability we're missing with Kamara out, and Barkley was basically doing that role most of the time for Luton as well.

Reports here are that we're willing to pay €60m but Atletico want €80m which we're refusing to pay.

I think we are waiting to see if we sell both Diaby and Duran (and for how much) before we see how big we can go on a new forward. By the time that happens there will be clarity on the availability of Nico Williams and Felix and we will make a move. It will be interesting to see who we go for if neither turns out to be available.

I really hope we don't drop the Duran price for these whining cheapskates;

https://www.hammers.news/news/david-sullivan-confidant-shares-fresh-jhon-duran-update-as-transfer-saga-takes-brand-new-twist/

"...because of Aston Villa’s extortionate demands for the highly talented South American youngster."

"The Villa starlet has all of the basic ingredients needed to go on and become a real star of the game in the future."

Yeah? Well pay for him then you moaning twats.

Yep, this shit pisses me off too.

"I really like this house, but I only want to pay you a stick of gum & a cabbage patch kids card, so I demand you lower the price!"

Go fuck yourself, you entitled little fuck-head.

Either pay up or fuck the fuck right off...

I would laugh if he ends up at West Ham after his eyelash fluttering at Chelsea for the past 18 months, especially as it just pushes the problem onto them, but for their fucking cheek at demanding we lower the price publicly, I would rather take a £5M loss on him to what West Ham want to pay & just sell him to Milan or the like...

One, for the cheek of the entitled little porno-c*** taking negotiations public & making unreasonable demands, & two, he goes abroad, just in case he does turn out to be decent in the future...

Does the 'entitled little porno-c***' still own our FA Cup trophy? Squeeze the £40m out of them and include the trophy as part of the deal.

Onana had Gueye ahead of him in that role at Everton, doesn't say much for his application and tactical discipline off the ball. Barkley might have improved both last season, from a non existent base mind, but would see both as trying to replace Luiz playmaking abilities not Kamara.

No, I don't see that, Bronte. I take your point about Gueye acting as a bit of a foil in the Everton side, but that was under Dyche. Look at Onana's stats for interceptions, ground and aerial duels-won: he has a good record as a DMF. Also, it's not like McGinn, Tielemans and others are total powder-puffs.

Athletico really don't want him back though, and I don't think they want another loan. I read something the other day that suggested they're (or maybe just him) not back for preseason yet and they don't want him to come back at all. So there's really no love lost there, and unless Barca suddenly become flush again, they're either going to have to drop the price, or let him come back.

Scabalona can buy Felix with the money they save on Williams when we hijack their bid.
