It's an odd one when you may decide not to sell a player just so that you don't fuck the books up for 3 years time. Keeping players for another year to extend the grace period etc isn't something I'd considered until now.

We’ve got so many saleable, pure profit assets we don’t need to worry in advance. That grace period from the end of the season to June 30th could come in handy though. One of the main reasons we moved the end of our financial year was because we wanted the last few weeks of it to coincide with the transfer window being open.
