McInally doesn't agree that he's anything like Cantwell. Because he isn't.

Gallagher is much better than Cantwell, although that's a very low bar.

I read an article that described Gallagher as "playing the whole game like a man being chased by a wasp" and thought it was very apt.

I'd be more surprised if we didn't replace Carlos with Hermoso.  A nice 15-20m for Diego goes on a super talented youngster to understudy Watkins.  The 40 for Duran then signs a high class right back allowing us to sell Cash and buy a right central midfielder that has more attacking aspirations than our current batch.
Transfer chess.

Well he is obviously, but it’s more that he’s a completely different type of player.

Never been a fan of players with long hair.

Carbone and Angel I tolerated, and at least Juan Pablo had the decency to have short hair when he arrived.

I can't say I noticed him but did make me laugh.

Looked good on Brian Little though.

If we replace Carlos with Hermoso, we’ll have three LCBs and one RCB. So…

Sell Carlos, buy a dominant, powerful Mings-like RCB to replace him and play alongside Pau.

Sell Cash, buy a RB to understudy Konsa in big games and play in easier ones.

Either sell Duran and replace him, or keep him if he can get himself together.

Buy a lock picker midfielder like Baena.

Didn't VinnieChase say a while back that Baena was going to be our big signing of the summer?

I agree, sell Carlos and get another RCB, we don't really need more options on the left.

If we can't get him I want Vitinha from PSG, an upgrade on Dougie. And before any of you say, but what about cdbearsfan and his hatred for everything Portuguese, just remember he was probably (can't be arsed to look) calling those other foreigners 'Argies' when we signed Emi Martinez. #saynotoxenophobiakids
