50% of his transfer...so what, we get custody at weekends and he stays with his Portugese mamma midweeks?

Is Joao Felix missing a penalty a sign that he's bound to become a Villa player? He only needs a knee injury and he'll have a full bingo card.

I think it's a sign that one of the brightest prospects in years has his head all over the place. The best thing for him is a reboot at Benfica.

Plus I doubt even if allowed we'd want to sign a player on 50% rights. He reminds me of Dani. Of course you don't remember.  There's a reason for that.

The West Ham player? Definitely don't remember him or his unprofessionalism.

The commentators on ITV yesterday said we'd been linked with Yilmaz. He'd definitely be good in the Watkins role.

I do remember him. From the era where West Ham had that ridiculously baggy kit with the enormous pointy collar.

I vaguely remember him. Was he the same era as Paulo Futre?

He was the good looking kid who was all about the "London life"...

Although to be fair to him, he did have a pretty decent career after leaving West Ham.

Yup. Also the subject of a pretty famous and sweary Harry Redknapp quote.

One of the few times Redknapp has made me smile, along with losing his shit at being called a 'wheeler dealer' and getting smacked on the head with a ball whilst being interviewed.

When he was arrested on corruption charges too - that made me smile.

Just looking this guy up, and this bit sounds familiar...

Quote
In the aftermath of that game the football grapevine had been working its magic and, allegedly, Dani was unhappy at being used so sparingly at club level, despite the fact that he was still learning the tools of his trade.

His career oozed promise but the inherent need to go from 0 to 60 as quickly as possible led to the first of many brushes with authority. Sporting manager, Carlos Queiroz, later to join Ronaldo at United, had grown tired of his antics and the constant jousting from the player’s agent pertaining to a lack of game time.

He retired at 27 and was most recently the host of the Portuguese version of Strictly Come Dancing.

After their tango move at the drinks cooler, I reckon Kane and Southgate are nailed on for the next series in the UK.
