Only time will tell who's got the better end of any swap deal but I'd back the two men we have in charge over 99% of anyone else in football based on their track record before they cam to us, regardless of anything since.

Consider that there's also a chance that Luiz might flop at Juve. He'd been seen as talented but inconsistent since he'd joined and had not always been first choice, but 18 months with Emery elevated him and that might not be the case elsewhere, it's been seen plenty of times in the past.

We could be well be looking back in 12 months at how we had Juve's trousers down with that deal.
