I’d completely forgotten about the battle between McGinn and McKennie at the breakfast buffet.

Expecting an ACL to be done during a race to the pancake counter.

I heard that being able to discover what proper bacon tastes like is what swung the deal for Weston.

Wait till he discovers brown sauce.

Brown sauce on pizza?

Yeah, apparently it hides the taste of the pineapple.

I don’t mind a slightly more rotund player - since Shakespeare left we haven’t had anyone to show those of us slightly fully figured how the training gear etc looks.

Ps McKennie will be a decent signing in my opinion

The whole pineapple-on-pizza question ceased to be a contentious topic as soon as it became clear to the wider public the way in which that innocent fruit was being exploited by Alan Pardew.

The uninitiated are advised to Google it, rather than besmirch the good name of this estimable website.

As an aside I was thinking about Craig Shakespeare the other day and was wondering if anyone has an update on his health?

I imagine sticking pineapple on your pizza would be a good way to avoid Alan 'King' Pardew taking your dinner on a whim.

Dangerous thinking that Dave, I was thinking a couple of weeks back that I hadn't seen Alan Hansen for years then next thing you know he's at deaths door.

There's a mean pizza with pineapple that maestro Sorbillo in Naples has made. The key is no tomato, that sugars and acids clash is cursed as all hell. Smoked cheese and strong prosciutto with mozarella and roasted pineapple is very nice indeed, same idea as ham and melon.

I sometimes like pineapple on pizza and I do similar but I use nduja as the meat because I like the sweet and spicy combo.

I assume the smoked cheese and strong prosciutto is used to hide the taste of the pineapple when you don't have any brown sauce.

Brown sauce is ketchup for Scottish alcoholics.
