ManUre to launch an audacious raid on Villa for Ollie according to various outlets this morning. They think he would be attracted by the project and would be a good back up for the ugly fucker they have up front. Delusional pricks or what.

More chance of Maurice Watkins going back there.

So he’s going to miss out on champions league football to sit on the bench for a smaller club and maybe play in the League Cup against Rotherham.

No. This is for any transfer activity. We don’t need a separate thread for outgoing transfers.

We don't have a single first team player that doesn't have their own thread. The obvious place to put news about say, Diego Carlos leaving the club would be in the thread all about Diego Carlos.

Exactly. We don’t need a general thread for outgoing players.

Ok I'll work with what we have. But I do like specific categories it makes far more easier to negotiate the message board.
However, I notice there is a transfer priorities thread which involves prioritizing of transfers so a transfer outgoings is same theme just to say that then becomes confusing to what's allowed or not allowed.

Replacements
So a transfer replacement thread is that allowed?
Players to be replaced.
Basically that would be to discuss specifically that.
As a champions league club now there going to be some replacements lined up can imagine

I'd probably just say to post what you want to say in the thread that feels most appropriate and don't overthink it.

It'll probably be fine.

Ok then.
So if talking Man Utd be talking about taking players not selling them.
So Diego Dalot ? What about him as full back. Can play right and left.
I've just put on closing stages of the Man Utd V Newcastle game and it's 2-1

So solet and veiga are the two we rumoured to be in talks with. Be good to get some bodies in early.

Cant say i know anything about either but both seem to be highly rated.

I don't think we'll be signing anyone currently enjoying Man Utd wages.

If I was going to the Euros (or Copa America), I wouldn't be signing for Aston Villa before the competition. Don't want to do your knee in before the tournament even starts.

Raising the quota by dos!
Soler and Veiga are both number 8s
On Veiga my research has found this from his time at Celta before the big money move to Saudi.
He's a specialised as an advanced No 8 who needs defensive support in order to thrive— not every side befitting of his ability would be a natural fit.

"Fearless, tenacious, and blissfully untroubled by the prospect of losing the ball, his brilliant campaign was built on bravery and optimism from midfield, charging towards the area whenever the opportunity arose.

A direct dribbler, the 21-year-old can sometimes be over-ambitious with the ball at his feet, but Celta might not have survived without his head-down, gung-ho approach
So often clinical with the final action, there’s nothing Veiga relishes more than finishing off the chances his incisive runs create

Although, to curb Veiga’s forward-thinking nature would be to stifle his key strengths. If you provide cover for Veiga, open up spaces for him on the counter and move the ball up the right channel, his ability to drag his team into positive areas will take over.

Another huge strength of Veiga’s is his shooting ability he’s able to generate power and pinpoint precision with both feet.
