Those 2 arrive it's an 8 or 9 for me. Without them, 5 at best. Sorted PSR so you get 5. Not much more!

100% reliant on Watkins with the exception of the first game of the season, won by his understudy.

We don't quite have the depth in certain areas that we'd like, no, but I think the first team with Onana and Rogers instead of Luiz and Diaby may indeed be better. In any case, '4/10' still seems very harsh indeed. A Bronte rating.
Luiz and Diaby contributed 15 goals and 13 assists in the league last season.  I cant see how we've replaced that at all.

Feels like our newest hamstring is UEFA salary caps so without getting rid of at least one of Dendonker or Carlos, we won’t be bringing anyone in.

Morgan appears to be the go to 10, with likely JJ and Emi as ball carrying 10s in reserve. We've changed our system so far to accomodate this style, and why not given how good Morgan looks. He looks a massive upgrade, even though we had him last season, the midfield double pivot and split centre halves is designed for him in a way that it wasn't last term.

Luiz goals coming from penalties doesn't really concern me. We either get them or we don't.

I wouldn't mind another attacking player, what fan wouldn't when we don't have to pay mind to the strangling clutches of PSR over two competitions. If we can add more, let's do it.

I expect we have a couple of systems to deploy as Rogers won't play every game. Opposing teams will also study Saturday's tactics as they try and work out how to stop it from working.

Been saying that most of the summer. Completely agree. Youri wont get as many goals as luiz. I think rogers might but i still dont think we have addressed this issue and fundamentally what could cost us

If we concede fewer than 61 we might still have a chance.

Between Maatsen, JJ, Onana, Buendia and Rogers and Youri that's not difficult to cover. Conceding less goals for me is the main issue

A year ago no one would've predicted Luiz getting double figures for goals and assists so I'm not sure why it's impossible for 2-3 players within the squad to step up and offer more than last year. A full season out of JJ, Buendia getting fit and Duran getting more gametime could easily see those 3 add an extra 15 goals and assists to make up what we've lost, add on someone else taking penalties and I see no reason to think we're inevitably going to have less goals in the squad.

What I do expect though is for us to score more from free kicks and corners and to concede fewer as well. I also think the squad depth looks better (especially in midfield) which I hope will stop us hitting a wall in April.

and that's without us adding Geertruida (which I'm confident will happen) and maybe someone else before the window closes. We seemed to have the money/space to add felix so I'd be surprised if we aren't trying to find an alternative.

I think regardless of all of those stats you would just want your overall team / squad to potentially be at least a slight improvement on the team / squad from the first half of last season. Continued improvement, and with a real need as we're now in the CL. If it is, we should in theory concede less and score more as a team.

Tielemans scored 3 non-penalty goals too. So we’re nearly there goal-wise.
