The changes that they've agreed from 25/26 would allow a much higher investment ceiling so it would seem daft to continue with the £105m constraint next season. Are they really going to deduct more points off teams next season when they know it's a different playing field the season after? There's already a lot of frustration that the point deductions are taking from the integrity of the league table. Hopefully we've gauged the temperature in the room and they'll increase the limit for the last year of PSR.

How much for Evan Ferguson??? He’s scored 6 goals this season. 3 of them in one match. If he’s £68m then Ollie is worth 200

Let's not take the piss out of young Evan too much when we're about to play Brighton!

Although this might - https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/aston-villa-risk-riling-deducted-clubs-by-wanting-limit-raised-by-30m-fvkhgrx3t

It’s ridiculous that the limit hasn’t risen with inflation since it was set in… 2013 was it?

Yep, with average wages and fees considered the costs have increased by something like 110-120% since it was implemented.

As for the idea that it'll rile Everton and Forest, who gives a fuck? They knew exactly what the limits were and went over them, if the limits change all it really does is make it easier for them to slip back under the bar for next season, they should be happy because both of them will still be deep in the shit next season.

You would think Everton and Forest would be more bothered about not having further punishments and there's probably a few clubs walking a tight line (us, Wolves, Newcastle etc.)

They haven't agreed it though, that's the point.  It's been put forward as a proposal, which the clubs agreed to vote on at the AGM. Now the detail needs to be put on it before the clubs vote on the final proposal.  Which I believe would be at the next Premier League AGM after the season ends.

BBC report
Everton, Nottingham Forest and Leicester have all been hit with Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) breaches while clubs such as Chelsea, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Wolves have posted significant losses in their most recent accounts

What a dreadful, lacking in knowledge report that is from the BBC. Might as well have just added in something about Mercedes or Taylor Swift if they're going all in on irrelevancy.

The reporting on this subject in general is awful. I suppose that’s largely to do with football reporters talking about a subject they don’t have a clue about. To be fair, the Claret & Blue podcast, which is usually a bit dull and rambling, produced a decent episode featuring (I think) a Birmingham Mail business correspondent.

Does anybody know what will be allowed as our net spend this summer?

Yes having the amount will help us be more accurate in workings out transfer targets.

After the Tielemans signing last season I think can hope for another high profile signing like this be it a surprise or not!

Exciting times this summer window.

Kamara and Tielemans are the benchmark
