According to a Spurs friend, Ramsey is doing the rounds on Spurs social media and has been for a while.  They seem to think his incoming transfer is happening.  Not saying it will, but is what I'm told.

That is because they are deluded cockney wankers...

Hi Pablo, I am very happy to offer that feedback. Will let you know how I get on.

are you suggesting that Ramsey has been posting like Duran or that the deluded cockney wankers are getting themselves worked up on their own social media?

We're not selling JJ to Tottenham. Why would we weaken ourselves and strengthen a rival? Why would he want to leave? Spurs have always loved ITK bollocks. Like that time they signed Ashley Young every summer.

Quite, I'm very happy to fuel the 'Postecoglou in the running for the England job' rumours though.

Leaving aside his undoubted ability, and even injury concerns for a moment, given the 4 homegrown player rule, selling Ramsey would be madness. Bringing Philogene back was also a smart move on that front, and I suspect (as i think paul might have mentioned) Marschall might also be kept in the squad ahead of one of Olsen or Gauci, and then it's either Kaine or Cam for the 4th spot?

Also, i see that Baena is in the spain squad for the olympics. I wonder if it would have a bearing on whether we pursue him in this window?

I can cope with Luiz and Diaby going, and get the reasons these deals are in everybody's best interests. But Ramsey would be a step too far. I also just can't see it happening from a practical point of view. He's missed almost the whole season with injury, and while it seems like he's training in terms of running on the grass, like Mings and Buendia, he could still be several weeks from actually playing football. Is he going to pass a medical under those terms, and is a club ging to risk £50m+ on such a player, especially a team as Spursy as Spurs?

Same here.  I'd frown very much on Ramsey being sold to anybody, let alone fucking Spurs.

There's no way, unless he's crocked or has been a nightmare to deal with, that we'd sell him. Spurs can feed all the rumours they like, they want shot of Lo Celso, Emery managed him previously etc. but there's just no way I can see it happening.

It would only be daft if he's expected to be fit and fully firing soon. If the club think the injury is going to be an ongoing issue then the daft thing is keeping him if there's a chance to move him on.

No, nothing from our boy. Just the Cockspurs getting all chatty about it happening, so I am told.

I'd been saying Sinisalo but obviously that's not happening, it does seem likea very easy choice for one of those spots though.

I wouldn't not sign him because he'll miss the first couple of weeks of the season.

I’m surprisingly pretty relaxed as things stand. Regarding the sale of Luiz and Diaby, while both were important at times they were hardly critical by the end of the season. They had some excellent moments, Luiz many until Kamara got injured but we have a number excellent options now in midfield and I feel we still have one big signing to come. As for wide players I think we are in really good shape. I want to see us add a second legitimate forward to take the pressure off Ollie. Sell Donck, Carlos, Olsen and bring in players to give us the best chance of another great season. I don’t think for a second Emery/Monchi are done. We will have some fun yet in the remainder of this window.

Ordinarily i'd disagree with you, given the importance that the settling in period is for players to get used to emery's methods, but given he's already played with him, probably less of a risk
