If he's not good enough for them, he's not good enough for us.  Let him go to West Ham or some such like.

Yeah i mean arsenal are only playing in CL and competing for the title...

Did you say same when we signed emi from them?

No, because when you finish seventeenth (as we did the season before we signed Martinez) then you have quite a wide scope for improving your squad. When you finish fourth or fifth, less so.

Have just read on BBC sport Arsenal are looking at selling Smith-Rowe, linked a couple of seasons ago and I know he has had a bad year with injuries. But if the price was right?
You  think our medical team are looking for work?

Smith-Rowe is super fit, last I heard was weeks later he was still running around trying to catch up with Watkins.

Would he be an improvement on Bailey or Diaby, Rogers or Ramsey? Im not sure he would.

We will the same next season, so why should we get Smith-Rowe in when they don't think he is good enough to play for a team who are playing in the CL and competing for the title. He has only started three matches this season, against Sheffield United, Forest and Luton, so it shows you what they think about his abilities.

And I'm not sure why you have even mentioned Emi in the post for?

On top form he gets into our team and for me gets in ahead of youri or buendia (but does hw still have that in him ? I have no idea)

But if unai who knows him well thinks he is good enough then I am absolutely  ok with this signing if price is right.

I dont think ESR has been given enough opportunities personally and like ramsey has injury issues. A frwsh change like emi got could reqlly bring something to us

Your are obviously entitled to your opinion, but I think you're talking crap.  He's a decent player but we've left him behind.  File under Lo Celso et al.  He will end up at West Ham or Palace and is not going to take us to the next level.  He'd be a squad player, no better than Zaniolo.

The fact that he was the one chasing Watkins when the other defenders had all given up and let him run in behind them is more of a comment in favour of his character than one against it.

I think ESR going to Palace could be a good bet.
The chances are they’ll be losing at least 2 of Olise, Eze and Wharton so will easily have the money for him.

I don't think that's necessarily true. Arteta seems to have favourites. Tierney is another one (signed by Emery) that seems to have done alright on loan after being axed by Arteta.

I think we will sign Tierney in the summer, fits the profile Emery is looking for.

Tierney is very good when he’s on the pitch, but a horrible injury record. Will fit right in…

True...last time he managed 30 league games in a season was back in 2017/18.

So maybe not then...

Well Smith-Rowe's record is zero goals in his last thirty-seven matches. So maybe. Maybe not.

Have you considered the major injuries  he has had and the limited starts given? How many of those were starts? You cannot seriously compare ESR to zaniolo  ?

Zaniolo is useless ESR just needs to leave a manager that isnt utilising him at all. Arteta the same man thats destroyed ramsdales career
