I have a feeling that this will be a game of football that either time could win. Or it could end in a draw or be abandoned.

You left out postponed. Due to a Spurs player slipping as he steps off the team coach and hurting his toe, it's just one injury too many for them to be able to field a competitive side.

I'm really nervous. On the three occasions lately when we've met stronger opposition (Manchester United twice and Newcastle) we have buckled. Win this one and there will be a sense that those defeats are behind us, and fourth place beckons. Lose today and I'd worry about how the rest of the season might shape up.

Neither Newcastle or man United are stronger than us, we're many points above both teams. Very strange comment

Very true, in those games we haven’t really turned up (the Manure one we should have won though). We need to be better in defence, we can’t be shipping easy goals. But our attack is functional again so hopefully we’ll be right up for it and have our intensity right (that was one of the main things missing against Newcastle and Chelsea.)

Win today Villa please.

Sutton predicting guessing 3-2 to us. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/68462975

FTFY (by his own admittance admission in the blurb).

No need, the text is clear enough, "Sutton's prediction: 3-2".

FTFY (I believe the word you were looking for was admission).

I didn't mean they were opposition stronger than us, I meant they were opposition stronger than the other opposition that we've played (and beaten) over recent weeks.

It’s not a strange comment though is it? Both teams have done the double over us, Newcastle did it with relative ease.

I took it to mean “stronger” in terms of our opponents, not stronger than us.

The positive in me is thinking 3-2 with a last gasp 25 yard winner from Matty Cash but my head says 2-2.

I'd take a draw. I know that's not a good attitude, but I would.

Bit of extra  pressure riding on this one. Let's see which players have the mentality to step up.

We've won our last 5 matches on 10th March.

2001 = 2-1 Ipswich
2012 = 1-0 Fulham
2018 = 4-1 Wolves
2019 = 0-1 Bloses
2022 = 0-3 Leeds

Nervous as hell about this. Give me the draw now,  that'll do.

On way down from Macc, feeling slightly nervous but if we can get our offensive play going we can win. We’ve beaten these the last 3 times we’ve met, let’s be positive.

Interesting stat that, mate.

I was at that Ipswich game. Came down from uni in Aberystwyth. I think it was 3 hours on the train to Brum. Went with two mates - a Man Utd fan and an Everton fan. Was in the lower Holte and as I sat down, my mate from high school (Liverpool fan..my only Liverpool supporting mate, should I add) was there sat next to me. Bizarre.

Remember Ginola having a good game, and Joachim at the double. I think Ipswich were flying at that time.
