Konsa has been appalling yet again at right back. Carlos Cuellar 11

Get a grip lad. Konsa hasn't had the best match but he's coming back from injury and has played very very well at right back several times

Once from memory.

We can't break the press with him at right back, he just isn't comfortable with the ball over there. He was at fault for their only chance, idiotic yellow card  and gave away the ball loads of times.

Will Doug play the 90? or are we going to swap him for SJM on the hour mark?

McGinn is carrying a knock, so will only be used if he has to be.

They’re a much improved team from their Europa League exploits.
They are closing us down very well and Brobby certainly looks a unit.

Ref is shite. A clear corner for Ollie, Lenglet got clattered and Konsa was fouled and got a yellow!

I sort of agree with the yellow for Konsa there. Its beyond stupid reaching for the ball with your hands just expecting to be awarded a foul.

Not sure how you can blame the ref for the non corner....

I could see it from here… in Chelmsley Wood. Ref fooled by the Ajax player appealing,

Only positive you can say is we're not losing and they've barely threatened. That was pretty shit though.

I would get Cash and Bailey on at 60.  Konsa to CB

we need a it more ambition as this is poor
You can only defend for so long without dropping a bollock
It is not as if they are world beaters, get in there.

We've played within ourselves & they're bursting a gut to create something. Typical European away performance, Emery will be satisfied with that. Keep it tight for the next 20 mins or so & then catch them as they get tired

Regardless, you don't grab the ball with your hands just expecting a free kick to be given.

Liverpool 3-0 up in Prague so will be able to play their reserves in the return leg. Good for the co-efficient

Would bring them both on now, try Bailey on left. Hook Konsa and Rogers.

I agree; Konsa is a great player but is wasted at RB.
