Was that not Rogers?

Both of them had goals disallowed for offside when it appeared on second look they were on.

Would have liked to see the goal from Cam deemed offside.

It’s on this video, about 1 min from the end;

Torres pass for the first goal was excellent. Totally splits their midfield. I am utterly dumbstruck by the notion he's a poor passer.

Do people have that notion? I thought the consensus was that his excellent passing compensates for the fact that he sometimes has shortcomings in the defensive side of his game?

There were comments about him looking ropey in the friendlies with the ball at his feet. But match-threaders have high expectations and can be quick to condemn.

Yep, that sums up my opinion of him. Good on the ball, great at moving into space and hitting superb passes, but a bit weak and defensively very dodgy.

I think it was one poster on here who said it once so hardly a dominant narrative or anything

It was mentioned the other day, in context of the Bilbao game. I just watched the first goal again and felt compelled to post my incredulity that such a opinion exists  even if on the fringes.

The idea Torres is a poor passer has about as much credibility as that Qanon pizza restaurant basement nonsense.

Torres passing is crap, I don't care what anyone says. His body shape is all wrong and any lofted pass fails to hit the target by some.

Hmmm…maybe the Tusc didn’t have his goggles on at the time.

He's a tad slow and has a tendency to dwell a bit on the ball and occasionally be bullied by big boys but his distribution is same-day UPS.

Surely the team would of left for Germany by now so why no news on who has travelled yet?
