The last two pre-season matches should be the barometer when we have others due back in. However these game do seem to show that for all our purchases, we don't have seem to have the squad depth we thought we might have. CB, RB, Forward. All areas which have been shown up at the moment.

Agreed.  I also put some of this on Emery and the staff. Now maybe they want it this way for a reason (trust the process), but if I look at the Arsenal and Liverpool lineups from last night, they are playing their strongest available 11 and then subbing in players in the second half to get them exposure/minutes.  I'm assuming we are waiting until we get home to do that with the games against Athletic Bilbao and Dortmund?
