After the Columbus crap we decided to head home via Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. So glad we did, it is wonderful. Home late tomo, then work Tuesday before more driving to the Leipzig game on Wednesday. Hoping SJM, Youri, Dibu, Ezri and Ollie are back in for that one. Oh and since Diego took his shirt off after the Crew game my wife has not stopped drooling :)

The actual town on the Candian side is a right shithole though, or it was when I went 25 years ago. Like Blackpool without the class and charm. The falls are themselves are stunning though.

Correct.  If you go ever find yourself up that way, by all means go to the falls, but stay the night in Niagara On The Lake - a small town about 30 minutes away, which has a very European feel and some decent winerires.

That's a nice place that is . Niagra itself is tacky , hotels with heart shaped not tub / baths etc etc

Just watched the whole game for the first time.  Apart from the crappy goals and the suicide high line without VAR in then first half I thought we played ok

Standouts were Rogers who is turning into an absolute beast, Junior was better, Barronechea has definitely got potential, and nice little cameos from Emi, Onana and Maatsen

Disappointments were Moreno, Cash and Gauci, and I’ve seen nothing to suggest Dobbin was nothing more than a makeweight to get us over the PSR line

Without wanting to go all Footy about the Dobbin transfer how did it help us regards PSR or was it a case of quid pro quo with Everton after the transfer of Tim?

Yeah, most Everton fans don't rate Onana or Dobbins and say we've been stitched-up and thanks very much for paying off the rest of our new stadium while Villa Park continues to rot.

Cheeky scamps, those Scousers!

Yeah? Well one trip to Goodison Park they gave me and my mate a free bottle of Frijj each, so who's the real winner?  8)

Impressed with your family’s commitment and stamina, CT!
I realise distances in the USA are a bit further than popping up/down the M6/M1.

Have you seen yourselves on the YouTube film of the match?

It might be fun if Villans attending these matches gave a shout out to H&V with a rough location in the ground concerned, so we could try to spot you! 😃👍

(But it’s a crowd, Louzie0.
Easy, you’ll be the stunningly good looking fans.)

Balance is important. They also generously chucked 50p pieces onto the pitch when little Emi leapt like a baby salmon to head the winner there 18 months ago.

we'll see about Onana. Dobbin, I don't get!
I wonder how they'll feel about Tim in 3 months' time?!

Is the game against Bilbao next week at VP or Bescot?

Bilbao deserve better than the Bescot.

It's at the Bescot, sadly.
