No Ramsey is he off to Spuds?

For £3m plus whoever is the worst player in their squad. That cunning ****** Levy.

While I do think that rumour is bollocks it would be nice to have some sort of indication on how his recovery is progressing.

Emery has been reasonably open when asked in press conferences. I don’t know what good it does to voluntarily provide that info. Because it puts unnecessary focus on it and draws criticism and scrutiny if the date suggested moves back. And usually anything that is disclosed is pretty vague anyway.

We can pretend we are playing AC Milan away. Sort of.

Keep thinking we’re playing Bournemouth.

You’re going to be hard pressed to find anything for a pre season friendly on Saturday in Slovakia. £24.99 gets you all the games on Villa TV

Does anyone know when our Euro/Copa America players are due to return to the fold?

McGinn will be back next week, the others who went further in the comp another 1-2 weeks.

Not much to report so far. All a bit bland and game not yet settled into any rhythm. Only 2 real regular starting players for us from last season so going to be a bit disjointed. And as we know Emery tries all kinds of things tactically in these games and even at times during the season as he’s revealed.

Carlos caught out of position for a simple ball over the top. Nothing changes.

Off the top of my head I think we have 11 players to come back which is mental considering we're on to game 2 of preseason.

But then he makes up for it after Kosta got caught out and the forward fell into his brick wall of a body

Which is something like £300m+ of talent to add to this line up. And that’s a conservative estimate.
