I like between the lines as a phrase because it correctly identifies what almost every tactic is trying to achieve, if you can get players into positions where defenders don't want or expect them to be then you'll generally be pretty successful.Pretty much every other term used by the football hipsters (low block, etc) is just a new badge on a well established concept. When did the offside trap become a high line, and why? I don't mind it as much as some but I do find it a bit strange that people felt the need to do it.
