God we were unbelievably shit that day. Even worse than '15. We only started playing three minutes from the end. Remember David James nearly managed a headed equaliser

The most disappointing day following Villa. Worse than 2015, worse than 2010 worse than 2020. The 2018 playoff does run it close.

Just got into North Stand Lower.  Have they got the top tier?

Yes. First few rows are blocked off.

I had my CFA Level II exams the following Saturday, so had to study on the flight back to Miami the next day. I've had better weekends.

At least in '10 and' 20 we played OK. We were robbed in '10 tbh. How the hell Vidic wasn't sent off irritates me to this day

That Chelsea team is so so weak. The defence is made of  poor players and I can only see 3+ goals being scored and being on Leeds next round
Looking forward to this!

Up The Villa.
One of the rules, as a Villa fan, is not too be sooo freaking optimistic so close to kick off.

Fair points. There was just something about 2000. We genuinely should have had nothing to fear in 2000. We were an established top 6 team. They weren't what they later became. The sense of occasion in 2000 also, it sort of felt like it would be our day.

In the finals since 2000 I always felt we were big underdogs and didn't have the sort of expectations I had in 2000

i found 2015 far worse than the Chelsea loss.
0-4 was humiliating

come on Villa

me old man always talking about the 57 final and Johnny Dixon  , never seen us win it and 66 years is mental for a club like Villa to have never won it since.

Lets do it ..    If we can beat cheat city n wanky Arsenal in a week , we can do these and Manure .

As we’re live on ITV, I’m curious to see how the PWS Time Machine works
