That was a bit surprising and a bit good wasn't it?!

Wolves under O'Leary always springs to mind being 3 up away very early on. We marmaslised Derby too. But that was excellent today. The attacking play was so much quicker and incisive than it has been for a while. Very clinical too. The 2nd goal was such a high all round quality goal too; what a ball, what a finish! Bailey looking tremendous again.

Today felt quite derby-ish from the fans perspective too. Bordering on moody, lots of folks in the aisles and limbs going everywhere too. Can't recall any history between us, so maybe it's just a 17:30 in a decent city and ale and you know what taking its natural course.

Plenty of backing, easy I guess when the game is over inside 20 minutes. They were streaming out then and hard to blame them as they're absolutely diabolical. Hilarious for VAR to further piss on Wilder's chips.

I hope Konsa isn't too badly hurt. We were behind the goal to that side of the post so it was right in front of us near enough. He looked in some pain.

Rogers is massive, should have done better with his chance too, but useful that he's got some minutes. Diaby got into some good positions and was unlucky not to score, which is nice to see. Cash delays the pass to feed him too often for me. Let him stretch the opposition!

They huffed around for a minute or two before their disallowed goal, but it was so comfortable that there was no particular feeling of unease. Great to keep a clean sheet and some really good defensive work and goalkeeping. The early goal suits us a lot! More please

We have added Kamara to the list of hundreds of players that have a Tequila song too.

They had absolutely nothing up front
I was expecting to see McBurnley but he was out injured and that young Norwegian who played looked pretty clueless

After the first few minutes we just passed it through them at will. They were 1 dimensional up front and I don’t really know what they were set up to do. We were just too good for them all over the pitch and scared them so much on the break they sat back and were happy just to keep the score down.

Scintillating first 30 minutes, training match for the rest of the game...and all Unai had to do was drop the player out of form (Diaby) to the bench and replace him with the player in form (Leon). I think dropping Cash was a good move too given his inconsistent performances of late.

Utd were indeed poor, but we looked a much improved team with Bailey on the right and Tielemans more advanced.

Are those bitter fans of theirs going to post ad nauseum that this defeat shouldn’t be counted because we should have been relegated for their goal at Villa Park wasn’t given?

Having to hear his voice or see his face is always an abysmal day at the office for me.

To redress the balance, have a watch of the extended highlights on VillaTV, Sir Brian is on co-comms and is so wonderfully biased it makes for blissful listening.

They were very complimentary about us on MOTD, and also rightly said Sheff Utd were shit.
