The preview on 5live featured commentator Ian Dennis citing two youth players on the bench, one of which recalled from loan as evidence of what Howe is up against in terms of injuries. And the fact that they've being playing in Europe this season. I usually have time for Dennis but this was myopic, biased and thoroughly ill-informed.

They did gave a bad spot with injuries but that starting 11 isn't far off full strength. We're the injury sob story now!

Is Targett injured or does he just collect £20 grand a week to jog about in training?

You'll be happy to know he's on 5x that!

Bruno Guimarães    £8,320,000   £160,000
Alexander Isak          £6,240,000   £120,000
Sandro Tonali       £6,240,000   £120,000
Kieran Trippier       £6,240,000   £120,000
Matt Targett       £5,200,000   £100,000

Insanity.

So is Torres offically dead?
Not yet but I saw him earlier catching a Swiss air flight.

As long as it wasn't Malaysia Airlines we might have him back before the end of the season.

I usually have time for Dennis

Even when he says "You can't see the wood for the trees in that Forest defence"?

*I don't mind him either.

Just tuning in. Hoping for a good game tonight, worry thay we haven’t been the same since Arsenal but it would be great to see a fluent performance tonight.
